I JOINED ABOUT A WEEK AGO AND ALREADY I'M SUSPICIOUS. WITHIN A FEW DAYS I RECEIVED ABOUT A DOZEN EMAILS. I RESPONDED TO MOST OF THEM WITH A BRIEF NOTE THANKING THEM FOR THEIR INTEREST AND STATING THAT I LOOKED FORWARD TO GETTING TO KNOW THEM BETTER. AFTER TAKING THE INITIATIVE TO MAKE FIRST CONTACT, NONE OF THESE GIRLS HAS CONTINUED TO COMMUNICATE. I'M BEGINNING TO THINK THAT C-MATCHMAKER PROMPTS THEM TO WRITE A BRIEF MESSSAGE TO NEW MEMBERS. THIS IS MERELY TO SUCKER THE NEW MEMBER INTO THINKING THAT THE WEB SITE IS GREAT. I SUPPLIED MY YAHOO ID TO A COUPLE OF THE BEST WRITERS, AND WAS SURPRISED TO FIND THAT IT HAS APPARENTLY BEEN POSTED ON MATURE SINGLES DOT COM-FOR THE PUBLIC TO VIEW!

All I found on this site were men from Ghana with the same sob story about being a widow and on and on and on. Been trying to find a phone number to cancel. This is anything but Christian. How deplorable!!!

Fraudsters hiding behind the Christian reputation
This company sent me an email offering a free trial offer. They took my money immediately through Paypal and when I emailed them straight away asking for the refund they said that I had not followed the links correctly and they could not offer a refund. I immediately cancelled my subscription and filed a dispute through Paypal; Christianmatchmaker completely removed my profile on the same day. Christianmatchmaker did not respond to any of Paypal's emails. They later said that they had authorised a refund but it was now out of their hands as I had filed a dispute. I closed the dispute and after excuse after excuse they have now stopped communicating and have still not issued a refund. So basically they took £24.95 for something I never even had! DO NOT USE - as the other reviewer said, they are neither a scrupulous nor Christian organisation!! Not a good witness to the Christian faith!

Hardly anyone in close proximity especially if living in Britain and fraudulent organisation! BEWARE!!
Not very user friendly, can hardly access anything unless you subscribe so can't get a feel of the site until they take your money and then there are cancellation problems when you have discovered the site is no good.
Their special offers are a con.
