Registered for an event that had 5 men and 11 women. Rescheduled event, then had that event cancelled and I did not receive any notification of cancellation. Then no other events available to me in the next few months. Poor phone customer service.
I would agree with all previous negative experiences. While speed dating might be an interesting concept, stay away from this company!
The first time I went after they stressed repeatedly not to be late the hostess was about 20 minutes late leaving us to stand around awkwardly wondering what to do. For $50 I would have expected at least an appetizer or a drink but nothing. The men I talked to told me that they were practically begged to come as there are never enough men at this events. Unfortunately I had a credit which they wouldn't give me back my money so I went to one more event, this time the venue was in a noisy pub where you could hardly hear each other and it was kind of embarrassing because all the other patrons in the pub (mostly men were watching and kind of laughing). As well the event was supposed to be fit and healthy and the first guy that sat down reeked of cigarette smoke and looked like he had done drugs all his life. He proceeded to tell me that he only paid $10 for the event (uuh cause they are desperate again) and I paid $50 with of course no drink or appetizer. I can meet much more attractive guys in a bar and have at least 3 drinks at that price so....never again.
I can see from previous reviews that I wasn't the first person to discover this company has despicable business practices. Namely that although they insist on prepayment before any event they then cancel these events and provide no alternative dates and refuse to refund any payment you've made. I have already waited over 5 months for a similar event and as yet nothing is scheduled so I cannot even use the credit I have with the company. Total scam.
