Nothing happens here
Like many reviewers have already mentioned, howaboutwe is a great concept...in theory.
Aside from essentially being forced to pay for a membership in order to read your messages and view your visitors, nothing really happens here unless someone specifically asks you for a "private date." You post dates and get "I'm intrigued" notifications but an overwhelming majority of the people on the site lack follow up, as if pressing "I'm intrigued" was enough to guarantee a date.
Pros
- Quality of people here are better here than on plentyoffish and okcupid
- Swift reply from staff if you email them with questions
Cons
- Very difficult to find website explanation on what buttons on the site do and what they mean
- Sending someone a "I'm intrigued" on their date suggestions is akin to sending a facebook poke. What are you suppose to do afterward?
