re: another hacked victim
Like everyone else, I thought this particular site tapped into a fresh idea which gave people an alternative to lengthy profile writing and a multitude of questions. I signed up using a $27 promotion for three months. I started out by being swamped with "I'm intrigued" messages, only to find out that most of the people were flakes. Like the previous post, I deactivated for a week just to detach. When I decided to reactivate I was no longer a paying member. I emailed the site twice but no response. I figure, I might as well cut my losses and deactivate for good. At least I only paid $27. Don't use this site. On top of everything else, the morning after I signed up, BofA called to inform me that my card was hacked. I had to go through the inconvenience of updating all of my billing information with my new card for the bills I pay with auto pay. This service is definitely not worth the headache. Run far away from howaboutwe.com and stick with the mainstream sites.
