    Fun

I had a great time a Hurry Date. It was my first speed dating experience and it was great. I said yes to five guys actually!!! I was shocked I liked that many b/c I normally don't even meet one guy a month I like. I only matched with two, and only one has since emailed, but but hey - it only takes one! :-)

    Pros
They don't email your email address to people. You are matched up online and can contact people online through their site so your personal email address isn't out there.
I liked that I could see photos of most of the guys after the event to remember people.
    Fun.
Customer support after the event (long story) was bizarrely amazing.

    Cons
    Five minutes is really fast.
I felt like I blew it with one guy b/c I just wasn't "on" for that date.
I wish they had more parties for my age range.

    HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

There are absolutely NO words to describe last night, but I'll try. I showed up for the 40-55 speeding dating event at Saloon. I am a fit, stylish, professional 44 year old woman. I walked in and saw approximately 15 men who CLEARLY were over 55, many had combovers or were completely bald -- and not the sexy bald -- many were EXTREMELY overweight and ALL were dressed like they were going to a ball game on a Sunday afternoon.

After I got over my complete shock and disgust, I left.

Seriously, in Manhattan this is the kind of men HurryDate attracts?? Now I'm going to post this e-mail on every single review board I can find so other women don't waste their time and money.

    Ick...
