Review:
At first I was a little bit skeptical about a new dating website [Ivydate] when my friend recommended it to me. Eventually after much persuasion I gave Ivydate a shot. What I liked about it was that all of my data was relatively private. Only the people who were matched with me could see my information so even if somebody knew what account I used they couldn’t see my information.

Another thing that I liked was simply the quality of the matches I received. I know other people on this site have talked about their matching algorithm but I didn’t have a problem with it because the quality of the people on the site is so high. I know that sounds almost cliché but it’s true; let me explain. From what I can glean from their site and how I experienced the process it seems that they have a fairly strict screening process. Before I was allowed to be sent out as matches to anyone my profile was personally reviewed by someone at the company (presumably to make sure I was ‘exceptional’ and to make sure I was serious about using their site and not just doing it as a joke.) The process seems pretty long considering I’m just signing up to a dating website but what it produces is a very high quality group of people looking for the same thing I am, a meaningful relationship.

All things considered, I would say that my experience (so far) with Ivydate has been very positive and I’m looking forward to going out on dates with the people I met on the site!

What a bad matching algorithm. You can't do anything until you've paid, and then you get a bunch of useless matches. Better to invest your money buying someone a drink at the bar than to pay for access to this useless matchmaking website.
