My view of FC - Horses for Courses
I have been on the site now for 6 weeks, much more than I intended. I will not renew my platinum membership again though in 2 weeks time.
It all depends on what you are looking for from this site. If you are interested in young girls, young enough to be your daughter contacting you and flattering you this is the site for you. But these young girls and beauties (models) are not for real.
However, there really are genuine people on the site. I know because I have met 2 of them, and one of them I really want to marry. I know her children, her brothers, her friends etc etc. But I probably had to trawl through 100 women to find 1 genuine one. Those are the odds you are up against. So genuine love can be found their, but my god do you have to work hard to find it. But you will quickly find out who is genuine and who is not. I guess that's something you will learn quickly yourself.

FilipinoCupid Is Mostly A Fraud
I joined this site on a one month membership to meet a woman in the Phillipines. The first day I got well over 100 emails & "Interested" notes. The girls don't read your profile so if you are like me and don't want to inherit a family or don't want kids, it does not make a difference. Every girl on this site emails everyone regardless of what YOU want. I even got emails from senior citizens. Every Instant Message request I got the person was in Ghana because of a sick family member or death. When I realized it was pretty much a hassle/scam I contacted the site for a partial refund and they said no since I had already used the site and they have no way of veriyfing who /where their members actually are.

i am australian 39 yr old, seperated male, and i joined up with this site about 4 months ago, and stayed a gold member for 2 months, and afternthat 2 motnhs i deleted my account. during that time i met quite a number of girls, more than a fair share, which gave me a lot experience how to deal with these women.
once you join up you will get a lot interests and messages from girls 15~20 years younger than you. i mean MANY MANY girls. and most of them are gorgeous (if you like asian women).

My review is similar to many of the previous ones - you will be contacted by oodles of pretty young women sporting themselves in bikinis, tight clothes, lingerie, etc. but be aware that nearly all of them are scammers. One young lady asked me to send her money for a webcam, and promised to expose her breasts on cam if I did. Another one offered to email me nude photos if I sent her money. Others simply try to pull the "My __________ is very sick and needs medicine please help" or "My child will have to drop out of school because I can't pay the school fees please help" or myriad other hard luck stories. This website is pretty much a waste of time for meeting real, honest Filipina women. I am certain that the vast majority of Filipinos are honest hard-working people, and this website actually gives them a bad name. Probably the best way to meet the real ones is to actually go the Philippines and introduce yourself.

FilipinoCupid - beware
I was contacted by over 1000 women in a couple of weeks. I made a point of ignoring profiles that had photos of women in bikinis or underwear or were from teenagers (the majority). I was ruthless in weeding out potential scams, but discovered that even women whom I had independently confirmed to be genuine people were all eventually after money. Many asked for cash on 1st or 2nd contact - usually a relatively small amount to buy a webcam or for a "health check". Others were more clever and subtle - gaining my confidence over a couple of weeks, then hitting for a more substantial sum for some dire emergency. These included typhoon damage (I checked the weather charts - didn't touch her city), rabies injections (no bite visible on cam), kids asthma (couldn't tell me anything about required medication), parent's treatment for schistosomiasis (I pointed out that it costs $2 for one tablet, taken once a year), $1000+ costs for marriage annulment (for someone I had never met!!), expensive computer repairs, etc etc etc. I was even asked to pay for a jeepney registration - very creative. I agree with the guy above - go there and meet real people. Don't waste your time money and emotions on these sites, and do everybody a favour by referring other potential users to these reviews.

Beware of ANY profile featuring beautiful girls! These people are either men posing as the girl pictured, using photos stolen from somewhere, or ANY person attempting to cheat you out of a few bucks. Almost all of them will tell you they don't have a webcam or a cellphone. Even if you do see them on webcam, it's either prerecorded or a girl put up to it by a pimp-type boss. Many are "too good to be true" and when you tell them you can't afford to give money, they get nasty and end the chat...never to be heard from again!! This a classic case of the cunning preying on the stupid! Don't let it happen to you!

My advice: If you are seriously concidering marrying a Filipina, GO THERE to begin your search in person. You can live for 30-60 days very inexpensively and properly court a lady in a more appropriate and efficient way. Stay away from big city girls (and big cities) You will be pleasantly surprized at the selection of fine young ladys. They are EASY to meet in public. It IS TRUE, they really don't put much importance on how you look. They value a real gentleman and focus on finding true love. Go about it the right way and you will not be disappointed!!

I don't have much confidence in the entire concept of internet dating when there's 8,000 miles between you and her! There really is no sure-fire way of connecting with a girl online and realizing her compatibility to you though chat and webcam. It makes all the difference in the world to be local and set up a simple date. You will learn more about her in the first 30 minutes than you would chatting for a month! Mistakes are easily and quickly chocked as history and the quest goes on. Read what I said above. All you will find on this site is tons of scammers constantly begging you for money. They all want money for a cam, food, requirements to get a job, etc. After my experience with this site and Cherry Blossoms, I stopped looking at any sites that feature filipina cuz they are bigger scammers than Nigerians ever were.
