My husband passed 6 years ago and since then, I haven?t been able to find love again. On the one hand I wanted to share my feelings again with another man, but on the other hand I did not feel like replacing my husband, mostly for the sake of my children. I thought they would not be able to understand and that they would not agree with it, even though I was absolutely not looking for a new dad. I did not realise that my children were grown enough to undestand the story. Actually, they were the ones who encouraged me to give a chance to online dating. It was hard for me to trust these kinds of sites but they convinced me that it was a great idea, and in fact it was. I have been a Smartdate user for two months now, and on a certain level it brought me back to life. Although I have not found love, I have been lucky enough to find interesting people and some new friends. I have already met 3 or 4 men, just for a night out, a walk, a discussion over a glass of wine... and it has been fantastic! I encourage women in my situation to try it out.
