DON'T EVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!
I almost threw up. I was on for 5 minutes and was bombarded with messages from the worst of the worst. I felt like a hamburger in a starving weight watchers meeting. The main screen keep sending more and more of the most unattractive women. I tried to delete my profile and that sucked. Had to download the app to remove my profile.Then delete the app. STAY AWAY ... I think I'm blind in one eye from what I saw on there, and my dreams will be haunted.

DON'T USE THEM
Their online cancellation system does not work and they will keep charging you. Then they will tell you it's not their fault that their system messed up, but they won't refund your money. I thought it was cancelled and they caused my account to overdraft. Use POF. At least their website works.

Firefox Web of Trust could have saved you all a lot of money
I also saw the advertisement for this on Facebook. I tried going to the facebook page but scripts through Facebook are ran through the actual AYI site so I decided to check out areyouinterested.com reviews via Firefox Web of Trust before even going onto the site. All trustworthiness reviews are red basically indicating that the site is not only a complete scam but also completely full of spy/ad/malware.
So use Firefox Web of Trust which is a free add on if you use Firefox as a web browser and save yourself some money and save your computer the pain of having vicious malware.

What a big waste of my hard earn money.Jennifer Meliss Cole @ yahoo.com. She is a scamer. Her age she put down 41. No problem, she has a sick grandmother. She is asking me for $2000.00 dollars for her sick grandmother kidney treanplant. Her age she put down 70. Now I am not that good in math, but 41-----------70, that 29 years apart. Her mother would have been around 9, or 10 when Jennifer was born. Now there another one name NANA she put down, she live in Jamesville Wisconsin, no problem. She ask me I was interested in meeting her, she live in Gania Africa. This site is one big big big scam. So they will take your hard earn money run let the scamer take you too. So this is a scam site for scamer.

This site is dangerous for women. The first contact I had on this website was a predator. THis site does not screen anyone!!! This guy lied about his age and where he lived. He changed his "where he lived" 4 times. I reported him but nothing was done. His last name is Harlan. He targets new members and women who he assumes has money and a home and is still on this site. Ladies stay away from this site!!!!!

No Star, I do not know that this applies to other areas or not. For local dating this site is worthless. There are few real people still using the site but lots of Zombies. You get more winks from Bosnia, Philippines and New York, which you do not want to acknowledge. You also get random messages generated by the site. I know this for a fact as one message I got was from an acquaintance that did not sent the message. Other messages you get and if you reply you never hear back they never appear online and basically drop of the face of the Earth. My advice, not worth a cent let alone the money they ask for.

I agree, once I signed up I couldn't talk to anyone. Plus I had more people "interested" in me before I became a member. I can't be the only one that is having this same problem. Wish I didn't join.....very disappointed.

AYI is fun, entertaining and addictive for some as an upside.
Members are Global as is Face Book.
The downside that is huge IS the majority of women, perhaps 90% are non paying members that can view male profiles BUT cannot respond to messages other than YES and maybe send a gift and prescripts that are computer generated !
Coding email address' does not work unless you are some kind of geek!

Yeah im starting to think they are a scam like most of the dating sights. There are real people on there no doubt, but the sight generates people to email you to get you to pay. I know this, because i started an account, then started a facebook account just for AYI. I tried to link the account with my new facebook account. Some how it created a sepperate account using the same address, leaving me with 2 AYI accounts. Anyway, i was getting seperate emails from the same women at different intervals, to one or the other accounts, meaning they probally searched and found my account and said yes at different times. not knowing there is two accounts. now the emails i get from suspected fake members are showing up to both accounts at the exact same time in my email. Anyway, why pay for crap like this when you can use free dating sights like plenty of fish and okCupid. no need to pay to send emails.
I am thinking about trying this out, to see what real people are on here, but i will be using a pre paid card
