I dont like this website...

I am a western girl (and pretty attractive) who joined up, and was only a member (standard) for 2 or 3 months, before Japancupid terminated my account, with no explanation as to why. I received a staggering amount of mails and messages from Japanese and western guys - averaging about 10-15 a day - and they were all paying members! :D So I obviously didnt need to pay any money to speak to them...

I sent 2 emails to Japancupid asking why I was getting the message saying "Your account has been terminated and can not be reactivated", and no-one could tell me why.

They didn't even bother to reply to my emails, but I know i did nothing to be banned in that way.

I tried to make a second account using a different email, but all my same details, and very shortly after they approved my photos etc, they then terminated the second account.

It can only make me think that they do indeed have ALOT of fake profiles, and for whatever reason they prefer to have their "own" girls on there as bait. Not other girls who may steal attention from the girls they want to promote. Its all I can think of. I am still waiting to be told what I have done to be banned, but I obviously wont be trying to sign up again.

Pros
No pros. Its a joke... but obviously better if your a girl signing up than a guy. I felt bad for all these guys who obviously were just lonely...

Cons
- lots of very sleazy guys
- lots of fake profiles
- The fact that they claim to monitor your emails and personal correspondance between yourself and other users... this scared me.
- the fact that you have to pay
