Fake members and messages....

I've been a member of Illicit Encounters twice now. The first time, early last year, I did meet a lovely lady with whom I had a several months long affair. When this affair finished I rejoined and was disappointed to discover that IE now engage in the dodgy marketing tactics of other sites. Having previously learnt the cautious behaviour of a typical female member, it was transparently obvious when I rejoined that IE, that the company had changed tactics in an attempt to extract more cash from me. I was suddenly bombarded with messages from ladies apparently lusting after me (even though I had not posted any publicly viewable pictures). My advice to prospective cheaters is save money and go to married dating site UndercoverLovers.com, which is much cheaper and where there appear to be far more genuine ladies looking for affairs.

Review: female scammers on the site

I agree 100%. They charge the earth (£149 per month) and deliver nothing by way of service. I also suspect they create fake female profiles to mask the lack of women and send out 100's of fake messages from them to entice you to stump up the cash. Save your money and go elsewhere (Gleeden and Undercover Lovers OK, Ashley Madison and Marital Affair equally bad - I've done them all!)

I too have wasted money with these scam merchants who to my mind are little better than a Nigerian dating scam. Unfulfilled promises and fake females designed to extract cash. I've had more luck at Undercoverlovers.com which you may want to give a go.

My experience too. I'm currently a member again and wished I hadn't bothered (or wasted my £149. There appear to be fewer and fewer real women on the site and more and more scam profiles. Save your money!

Review: Doesn't work. Don't waste your time

I have to disagree with you. I've been a full member of Illicit Encounters for 2 years off an on. The 4 'off' times have been when I've been having an affair with ladies I've met off the site. Compared to other similar sites the ladies seem to be genuine and not escort girls like so many you find elsewhere. Like everything in life, you get what you pay for. On Illicit Encounters I've had value for money - if I hadn't I wouldn't keep going back!
