Review: FAKE

Mostly POF rejects now. Went on one date and the gal had something on her profile (trouble) later on about how she hates dating guys who don't practice personal hygiene and she won't go on second dates with them. Hmm, that's strong. Take their money, though. I get it. I only saw two women in my area (this is Houston, TX, mind you) who were premium members and a few undesirable looking co-eds, so most can't reply to your messages, AFAIK.

Most offer nothing beyond claiming to be princesses and feel that entitles them to a handout. Okay. I cancelled well before my credits ran out because I just couldn't see myself on a first date--much less a second--with most of them just because I'd feel like I am babysitting.

There was the 19-year old "with PhD potential" from, Ohio who I guess was looking for tuition handouts. Okay, I have a bachelors degree, so color me less than impressed.

There were the escorts, too, including the one from Minneapolis (remember, I'm from Houston, TX) who I had to block after rejecting her many times.

Oh, "Octomom" is there, too. I thought she had money? I guess 14 kids does that to people...

Lie the site idea, but it's basically a bunch of POF rejects dressed up.

Review: Fake Profiles just to get you to buy Credits

Dude, with you being 49, I think you nailed the 48+ stereotype in the other review...you're looking for escorts or getting hooked by them. Don't act like you are new to the Interwebz and don't know how that works.

Review: Beware of the guys that are looking for prostitutes

I think you transposed your topic header by mistake. Actually being a guy on that site, it should read like this:

"Beware of the prostitutes that are looking for guys "

At least half of the "women" that have asked me to offer them have had suspended profiles (WYP does its homework) or some awfully risque looking pics on their profiles or just flat out are disgusting looking, which in and of itself isn't a sign, but you'd have to look the profile over before it clicks.

I get it, though. The gal I went to lunch with some time back evidently is getting asked for sexy time (so says her profile) and guys are telling her they are not paying without such, but that good ol' gender equality goes both ways, doesn't it? Yup. Give women the opportunity to act like men and it isn't so pretty after all...

Anyway, not to get sidetracked. Be careful out there. I hope the site doesn't turn out as another POF.com, but who knows. If there were not escorts on that site trolling through, well, you get the idea.

Review: Best dating site I've tried so far

You've had better luck than I with offers. Had an alleged teacher in Dallas who I shot an $150 offer to, but she turned it down. Somehow, rent was magically overdue and she was facing eviction and only had time for $300 offers. Uh, I'm the one thinking of driving up to Dallas, so no thanks. Never re-offered. Fvck that drama!

I willed one down from $300 with a $150 offer, then she wanted $200, but then she canceled her offer and went with $150. Date went well, too. $300? Too much, honestly, if I'm not married to her.

Had a 40-y.o. drop a $200 offer on me in response to my wink, but I let that one sit two weeks and expire. She wasn't worth it.

Several out-of-towners who I let know on my profile I don't travel...rejected pretty quickly.

Some escorts...rejected laughably quickly.

Chicks who sounded like they needed babysitters...same. Quick rejection.

College frosh with "PhD potential"...well, I already have a bachelors degree. Sorry.

I'm okay with laying some out for a gal, but some of these 18-y.o types who think the world should be given to them need to check themselves--same with single moms with a bunch of kids. The verified coeds...I skip them right over. They get a free year of membership, so they can make offers and maybe I'll think about them.

So, it's interesting to say the least.
