I personally think all of these should be outlawed so that genuinely nice people can go back to meeting each other like they are supposed to, face to face. What a joke pay some site money so that you can talk to other people who might be interested in dating you. I have an idea, get out of the house and if you run across someone that looks interesting to you, start a conversation and take a chance that they will talk back. This way you can also see if they are wearing a ring on their finger and not just trying to go behind someone else's back with an illicit affair.
