Full of false profiles and scammers who would ask you to send money to come visit you. To make it worse, they have activated subscription auto renew without me approving it, when I asked for refund and after mutual insults with their help service they suspended my account. Advice: STAY AWAY from those crooks
A-Pretty.com like many Dating Agencies from Eastern Europe, have a herd of models posing as available ladies.
If you navigate around them you may find some nice ladies.
For me I was able to find the list of models under most Popular Ladies. Anyone who would think these beauties are real will find out hard way. The reality is economic reasons motivate woman to join and run and industry driven by letter writing for the purpose of personal monetary support nothing more. Yes there are nice women available, but picking through models and professional letter writers and chatters can be quite challenging.
Pros Some nice woman are online here. Stay in a realistic age group.
Cons Models. professional letter writers and chatters can be quite tempting to engage with. Stay away.
I joined this dating site 2 yrs ago. I am a born South african of indian origin. The first time i joined it was going really well. Meeting alot of pretty educated women. Thats what i joined for. Then when i started recieving response from the women ... their profiles wer not available to me!
And after a while i was banned from the site and re directed to the Phillipine cupid site! They even refunded my money even tho i had ppl who wer interested in me!
They told me i have better prospects on the Phillipine site rather than the Thai site! Who the f..k are they to decide that for me? Australia is a known rascist country. And thats wher this site is owned and located. Im a 100% sure that these rascists are behind allowing cross culture rels.. esp ppl of brown and black race from dating thais and europeans..
On April 1st I registered and started talking to a guy. We then closed our profiles and talked on FBI messenger. Talked for couple weeks found out it was a scam. He said he was in army and claimed he wanted to marry me then went on asking me to send $3000 so he could come home and we would be together forever. Of curse I didn't.
Good site. Nice interface. You can communicate with intelligent girls with good sense of humor. Convenient and transparent payment system. Overall, I satisfied this site.
I think Skout is a dangerous site to join. I do believe they are involved and assisting the scam artist. They scam artist create an artificial idea that Skout is an active and healthy place to participate when in fact its numbers of real users are very small. However to get advertising dollars they can claim larger numbers with the thousands of fakes and bots. Lots of victims have been taken for money. Skout legally considers itself not responsible. Legally it may be true. But if you own a company and are hosting thieves and do nothing about it you are guilty of the crime by association. Skout bans and kicks out people who complain about the scammers. Skout is doing what many do when the heats on and their under suspicion. Open a new company and new name with a new face hoping to draw new victims. The behaviour of the software alone and some of the advertising scams that highjack emails are telling of their involvement. I would not trust them whatsoever. If you insist on going there create a safe email account.
Pros Ya can meet a few decent folk after wading thru thousands of phony accounts.
Cons ID theft. Risk to bank account. The scammers are looking to get you into a place they can interact and get your IP. They insist on sharing pics and such. Literally hundreds per day attack and bombard you with request.
Most men on the site play games. I am a black women. Even black men send me messages, I saw their profiles. Their profiles mention wanting only Asian, White, Indian and Latino women. If that is the women you, then why are you messaging black women. They want to friend them or talk debates. It is timewasting.
I am tired of men over 50 sending messages. I don't date men that are old enough to be my father. I have filter my mail to up to 40. Surprised that allow people outside the age range to send flirts/messages through filter mail. At least Pof doesn't allow those messages to go through. There are lack of locals that use the site.
I am disgusted with too many men asking for my photos, when they have only one pic on their profile. If men want to see what I look like, then Skype/Facetime. If men don't have Skype/Facetime, they are catfish.
It is a turn off that men have photo of them with their ex-wife/girlfriend. The person of online dating is meeting someone new and not old exes.
You will be better meeting people outside of online dating.
Pros Free to sign up
Simple to create a profile
Cons Filter mail need to go. If we have filters, then why do we need filter mail. At least POF have filters to where members cannot send anything. Filter shouldn't allow members to send flirts or messages.
Too many creeps, timewasters, and picture collectors
Search could use work. Sometimes search doesn't come up right. When you type looking someone that likes your ethnicity, it comes up opposite.
As other reviewers have said, squirt.org customer service is appalling, and shockingly rude. The jerk I spoke with at squirt was nasty, and he enjoyed being so. When I requested to have MY DATA permanently removed from their servers, I was flatly denied; simply told NO, they don't delete suspended profiles. In other words, ALL user profiles, along with your content, are retained by squirt.org, forever; for the site operators to do with as they please. When I asked where squirt.org servers are located (in Canada or the US), I was told "that's none of your business." In other words, YOUR DATA doesn't belong to you. Squirt takes ownership of your pics & videos, everything you upload to their awful website, they OWN, so they say.
Squirt has also billed my credit card, automatically 'renewed' monthly subscriptions, even though I didn't agree to nor authorize these transactions. I only agreed to 1 Month, each time, but they renewed anyway. After some years of using squirt, I feel that those running the site are creepy and corrupt.
I got suspended today after making a brief comment in my profile description about squirt being greedy and that I wouldn't be giving them any more of my money. So clearly you have to be careful about what you say on squirt, even on your own profile, because they monitor what you say about the website. You are not allowed to criticize squirt.org, or you'll be 'suspended'. So free speech isn't respected on the site.
I could say more about squirt's devious business practices... but essentially, my experience with squirt.org was not a good one. You're nothing more than a credit card number to these people. My advice, please save yourself the grief.
I'm not sure what I can do about getting MY DATA deleted from squirt, but I've followed up with my lawyer. I'll probably have to take squirt to court.
Dating and romance scammers will try to keep you on the website wasting time and money. They often claim to be from Australia or another western country, but travelling or working overseas.
Pros Once they have gained your trust and your defenses are down, they will ask you (either subtly or directly) for money, gifts or your banking/credit card details. They may also ask you to send pictures or videos of yourself, with identy fraud they may ask you to send an ID or passport.
Cons very likely to be forms of money laundering or just a scam which is a criminal offence. The researcher identified the behavior as organized stalking and described it as "emotional harassment" involving "hostile and unethical communication directed in a systematic way by one or a few individuals mainly towards one individual."
Dating and romance scams often take place through online dating websites, but scammers may also use social media or email to make contact. They have even been known to telephone their victims as a first introduction. These scams are also known as catfishing.
There are:
Clues of fake profiles pictures
Clues of fake profiles
Clues of fake conversations
For example to chat privately leads to nothing at all
Scammers typically create fake online profiles designed to lure you in. They may use a fictional name, or falsely take on the identities of real, trusted people such as military personnel, aid workers or professionals working abroad.
Scammers will go to great lengths to gain your interest and trust, such as showering you with loving words, sharing personal information. They may take months to build what may feel like the romance of a lifetime and may even pretend to book flights to visit you, but never actually come.
A big scam aimed at taking your money.none of the girls are real and when you chat you are talking to an wmployee of the site who will say anything to keep you chatting.this site needs to be shut down they are ruining lives with their lies
THIS SITE IS A SCAM FROM THE BEGINNING. THE GIRLS MUST HAVE A SCRIPT THAT THEY FOLLOW BECAUSE ALL TELL SLIGHT VARIATIONS OF THE SAME STORY. THEY LIE ABOUT HAVING A CAMERA PHONE EVEN IF ALL THEIR PROFILE PICTURES ARE SELFIES. THEY LIE ABOUT WHAT THEY DO, THEY'RE EITHER IN SCHOOL, HAIRDRESSERS OR BABYSITTERS. THE MAJORITY OF THE PICTURES ARE TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE AND IF YOU PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS A LOT OF THE WOMEN TAKING PICTURES IN THE SAME AREAS. I'VE SPOKEN TO A FEW OF THEM AND COULD HEAR MEN IN THE BACKROUND COACHING THEM ON WHAT TO SAY, PLUS WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE TO VIDEO CHAT WITH SOME OF THEM THEY DIDN'T LOOK LIKE THEIR PICTURES.
Pros NONE, THIS SITE IS THE WORST I'VE EVER BEEN ON!
I thought this site would be okay given that Cupid Media has other reputable sites. However, my experiences are 100% negative and I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone.
When I joined, I received dozens of messages before my profile pics were approved. That was the first clue.
If I reply to a message from a woman, asking for some information about herself, I am consistently asked to move the conversation off the site to imo, WhatsApp, email or skype. They do this because they are going to ask for money and if they do it on site they will get reported and booted.
The women tell you over and over again that they are serious and a one-man woman and a long litany of other motherhood but never actually tell you any facts about themselves or their life other than repeating a few stats from their profile (single, 5'6, etc.). This is of course because they are simply following a script designed to eventually ask for money and don't have the wit or motivation to even lie convincingly.
Common sense suggests that like myself there must be a few women on that site that are sincerely looking for a partner (1%?). But how would I ever find them? Every time I log in, there are dozens of new messages waiting for me from scammers. The awkward design of the site requires that I take a few minutes to deal with a single message. Chances are that I will be so frustrated by the time I come across a message from a serious woman, it will be tossed out like the baby with the bath water. And there is no point sending me interest, I get so much interest from scammers that a legitimate woman's interest will scroll off the bottom of the list within an hour and be lost.
And here's the very best part. :) This site includes a feature that allows a scammer to delete the entire history of messages she (probably he) has exchanged with me, leaving no trace. So that means that if they fail to scam me today, they can try me again tomorrow with a fresh slate.
This is not the first dating site I've tried. None are perfect. But most get the job done and would get 3 or 4 stars out of 5 from me. This however is a zero star site and a total waste of money.
PS I contacted site management and asked for suggestions to help me wade through all of the scammers more efficiently and zero in on the few legitimate members. They didn't get back to me.
I am registered on "Christian cupid", and I found someones profile on there of interest to me, so I added that person to my favourites list. It said that this person is from Hong Kong. Shortly after that I received an email from the supposed person. To read this email I needed to become a paid user. The cheapest amount was $39.98. So, I paid and read the email. The email said, "Hey :) thx for adding me as ur favorite while the time I was in 'your city' indeed lol (a week ago)". In the 'your city' part, the name of my city was used. Anyway, I replied back to the email on the 23rd of January, but I haven't received a reply yet. I decided to do a google search to try and find more information on this 'person'. After searching for her profile name, "Kevina", and the place in Hong Kong where she is supposedly from, "Tuen Mun:, New Territories, "Hong Kong", I found a similar profile on many of the 'cupid' group of dating sites, in a few different languages (Spanish, German), even though the profile doesn't mention that she speaks any other language apart from English. Also, there was major differences in the member overview description between the Christian one and the non christian ones. There were some minor differences in the personal details (for example, height, weight etc). I suspect that this is one way the dating website group gets people to pay for membership. To see the pages use the search string "kevina tuen mun hong kong". But I guess that once they find out this post is online, they will quickly remove or change that profile. I hope I can warn people about this site/group of sites.
Pros There may be some honest people on there...not sure
Cons From my review, I would say that the owners are involved in unethical practices...I would stay away.
I see posts that you say are from me and they are from you. You shouldn't be doing that. That is so wrong. Stop doing that. I will not be renewing when my 3 months are up and if you bill me without my consent I will contact the BBB
So this review is going to be broadly positive about IE hence will be dismised by some as sponsored promotion - it's not. I'm a male from London who's been using IE on and off over the last 4 years. Negatives first: it is indeed expensive; the attempts to hook you in after creating a profile (but before paying up) by random obviously system-generated hellos from specious profiles is extremely annoying (but you learn to ignore these and it does seem to have eased up thankfully of late); the time-pressure on male members to secure a date/relationship within the fee window skews the playing field; and the membership claims are obviously wildly inflated (I agree that the active membership at any one time can be numbered in the hundreds not thousands).
All that said...I have had 5 paid memberships on IE at 6-9 month intervals since 2013. On every one of these I have had several "dates" following correspondence on the site and on every one also I have entered into at least one physical relationship, typically more than one. Of course not every correspondence leads anywhere, any more than on any other dating/adult site, and again as everywhere else it's a "seller's" market for women. But from my expeience, if you compose an engaging profile, write a decent email (tailored to the recipient, not cut and paste) and are prepared to cast your net widely IE does in fact work. (If you're outside a metropolitan area, as others have noted, it's ound to be more difficult.)
Also, final note: unlike Ashley Madison (and we all know what happened there!), IE allows anonymous cash payments which given the nature of the site is a considerable plus.
Pros High if limited quality of members; discreet and functional.
Cons Expensive (for men); gender imbalance; some fake/spam profiles.
Where will I start?....Im speechless. In this day and age its quite a shock to be confronted by such an obvious scammer paradise. Why the operators of this abortion of a dating site allow it to continue in the way it does,is beyond me.
They are so complacent and contemptuous of the members that they didnt even edit out the catwalk from the photos of beautiful African models .Astonishingly beautiful stunning women dont need to go on a dating site and say they are happy to fall in love with a man 100 years of age....It is total madness and the b******s who run this crap allow it.They are not helping you in your quest they are arranging your f*****g funeral;
There are few genuine ones, they are easy to identify as they clearly have never seen a catwalk, they maybe eaten a few cats in their time but never glided down one.
If you are looking to date something out of a horror movie and see the ugliest women ever to have walked planet earth then you might be in luck and avoid the 98%scammers and find yourself a genuine creature of unknown origin or species.
To sum up.......In the name of God squander your money on something more worthwhile like a lottery ticket as you will have more chance of winning with that.
Pros virtually none, technically its an easy site to use. Thats It.
Cons Everything from the minute you waste your cash. This site will give you nothing but suffering and deep regret.
It is shocking that this so called dating site is allowed to be in business. The people responsible for this shambles are probably more guilty than the African crooks. They act as the pimp for these crooks allowing them to go about their business of ripping off the vulnerable and gullible .
It is a disgrace .I cant describe how annoyed I am at being duped Into getting involved .
Every day is a school day. Never even contemplate signing up for this.If you are serious about finding a partner look elsewhere.

Pros
High if limited quality of members; discreet and functional.
Cons
Expensive (for men); gender imbalance; some fake/spam profiles.
THIS SITE IS A SCAM.....DO NOT BECOME A MEMBER
Review about AfroIntroductions.comWhere will I start?....Im speechless. In this day and age its quite a shock to be confronted by such an obvious scammer paradise. Why the operators of this abortion of a dating site allow it to continue in the way it does,is beyond me.
They are so complacent and contemptuous of the members that they didnt even edit out the catwalk from the photos of beautiful African models .Astonishingly beautiful stunning women dont need to go on a dating site and say they are happy to fall in love with a man 100 years of age....It is total madness and the b******s who run this crap allow it.They are not helping you in your quest they are arranging your f*****g funeral;
Pros
virtually none, technically its an easy site to use. Thats It.
Cons
Everything from the minute you waste your cash.
