First of all, this opinion is coming from a man who is about to delete his account with Be Naughty. I think the site is "rigged". Bogus women sending chat messages that do not live where their ad shows. For instance, I got a chat invitation from a woman showing to live in a town near me in Oklahoma. I could tell with the jacked up spelling and puncuation in her ad, like an awful lot of others on the site, that she was not anywhere living near me. When I asked her where she lived, she badly misspelled the name of a town in Alabama. When I asked her to tell me the truth, she then said she was a nurse in Ghana. I have run across numerous ads where the ad would show a town and state, but in the written part, they would state they live in another part of the United States. Many, MANY ads are non-active. These are not difficult to spot at all. I have suspected that alot of these are bogus for the simple fact that I have not received any response through my attempts at contact. Hell, even a real woman, if not interested, will be good enough to write back and say as such. Then, there are the "bots". Most will have no pic, but in their first email, will give a fake personal email address. Then, when written, will send back a "generic" emailing, fitting anybody anywhere, with nothing that has to do with what was written to them. Speed Date has a real trick for anyone who signs up: You think you're clicking for $.50... they say this charge is to see if your over 21 years of age... then before you know it, they're taking out $191 for a year's prescription; or as in some european's cases 191 pounds.
I called them and argued my case. They gave me back 151 dollars, charged me $39.95 for one month. I told them to close my acct, I was through with speed date which are a bunch of crooks.
Then to make matters worse, they kept my acct open and recharged me on my visa for another $39.95 for another month. I called them again, the guy actually laughed at me and said you should have closed your acct. I said I did, you were suppose to close it and kept it open so you could hit it again. I finally hung up on the creep.
I was wondering if there is an attorney out there somewhere that would represent us in a class action law suit for a million dollars for them stealing money out of people's accts without authorization?

I think I should need my head testing for paying over 100 pounds for 1 month membership of a dating site. I had 1 month membership last year (2010) and met one nice lady - it could have gone somewhere if I had more opportunities for meeting but I think she was just a flash in the pan. But the amount of time spent writing witty messages etc and the cost don't really justify it. Nearly all the profiles are genuine I would say - the sheer ordinariness of the ladies is proof of that and most keep their picture hidden. Long story short, when I cut off her funds she changed attitude real fast!! All the info she had given me was fake! I learned a valuable lesson from this site, stay the heck away from it and NEVER give a lady money who is hesitant to meet you in person to get to know you! That was a good 3000 dollar learning experience!!

I used the site for awhile until I found out all the girls I wrote to were not the girls I thought I was writing to! Review about JMatchThe only good thing I have to say is about the customer service (at the beginning). The website is full of glitches and though I spent quite sometime on the phone with technical support (a man named Israel with his laptop) I still found more after the fact that were not resolved. I finially asked for a refund though that request was ignored. I am no stranger to online dating and this is certainly not a user friendly site. The second part, though I don't blame this on the company, is it is full of scammers. 95% of my messages were blatantly scam material. As much as we all may be tired of it, JDate is the way to go.

I am really pissed, the site clearly stated that it charges 50 cents, so i though there's nothing to lose. I filled out my information and submitted, then there is a page saying that i subscribed for 12 month and that 191 pounds are gone! I AM REALLY MAD, i never agreed to a year's membership, thought it was 50 cents a month. Don't use speeddate, it's a total waste of MONEY and TIME. Review about Illicit EncountersI think I should need my head testing for paying over 100 pounds for 1 month membership of a dating site. I had 1 month membership last year (2010) and met one nice lady - it could have gone somewhere if I had more opportunities for meeting but I think she was just a flash in the pan. But the amount of time spent writing witty messages etc and the cost don't really justify it. Nearly all the profiles are genuine I would say - the sheer ordinariness of the ladies is proof of that and most keep their picture hidden. But as it is free for ladies there are too many just doing it for a laugh and be prepared to waste a lot of precious time. I did notice one thing - while not a gold member you get a trickle of messages from different ladies - but you cannot read them without membership - then when you join and go back over the messages you find they are all one liners - like, "just got back been away a while" - and none of those who sent messages in replied to me after I joined. If you have masses of free time to invest and think 134 quid a month is good value then this might be for you. But I implore you not to give these blood suckers any of your money - like I did, fool that I am. Get out and try the odd chat up with someone you really fancy as most of the women on here are just old frumps.
