This site is a scam after my initial 3 day trail $4.95 it was hard to cancel my subscription so I got billed for $34.95 because I did not cancel on time. when I finally contacted them they said they could not refund my money. Attended a Pre-Dating speed dating event that was held at a popular upscale venue in town. Was completely full, all tables taken and a friend couldn't get in because there was no room. So this was good, more people to meet when it's full.
Event ran smooth, women ranged from business owners to professionals. All were nice, looks of course varied but overall it was an attractive group. Women were easy to talk to, smart, etc. No complaints at all.
Received matches shortly after the event as promised. I selected 2 women and while neither of them selected me back, 3 others did select me but I did not select them. I've been using Illicit Encounters for over 3 years, I have also used dozens of other dating sites. In fact I met my first and second wife on dating sites and use Illicit Encounters to look for discreet affairs.
Like the others I have found some of the 'issues' they described but lets be realistic here, you get scammers, 'professionals' on ALL dating sites, I found that if I reported these people to the admin of Illicit Encounters, they dealt with them pretty quickly - it is not in their interest to have these people on their site after all and it's bad for business.

I registered for this site twice under two different user names. The system kept sending me messages that my account was either suspended or permanantly deactivated. I conducted a live chat and was told that one of the accounts had been reactivated, when I tried to log in I received the same message that the account was deactivated. I uploaded my photos & drivers license for verification purposes and hope that this is not a part of some scam. The site states that a drivers license is supposed to be uploaded to weed out scammers, so I'm praying that my information is in good hands. I'm still waiting to see if the account has been activated or not.

Let me start off by saying that I am a nice, attractive, smart college student. On the flip side I've also met locals who are not millionaires but are rather quite well off, I find that those men are often the kindest and most generous. Through all of my experiences I have only had one steady SD , we're approaching a year of knowing one another and he's an attractive, great, younger guy. That being said, there are some things that concern me about SA and how it's run.. I was contacted by an "SD" who had multiple attractive photos and a very well written profile which said he was "worth" 10-50 million...
We exchanged a few messages and seemingly hit it off. Being a photography student I asked him why all of his photos were taken in a studio and if he would mind sending some casual shots before meeting. He immediately got defensive saying that those were the only photos he had and that they should suffice. Weary of his response, I saved his profile photos to my computer and uploaded them to a site that does a reverse photo search of billions of images already on the web, (just google tineye).
Turns out he had stolen every photo from a modeling site which I was also a part of! I confronted him in a blunt message and immediately blocked him. I then politely emailed SA to report him, handing over all of his information on a silver platter, even the link to the model's portfolio, only to see them do nothing about it. That was about 3 months ago and his profile still works to this day. It bothers me that he is out there scamming other girls who may not be smart enough to figure it out. His profile is 877352.
I also had another man contact me claiming to be some big photographer blah blah blah, he put his contact info in the message so naturally I googled him. ALWAYS do a short google search of names and numbers! Turns out he had sent the same exact message to many other girls and was running an escort service, go figure. I again blocked and reported him to SA. I still have yet to receive any response. His profile is 752271. The contact info he gave me was
Just google his cell and you'll find tons of references to escort services.
In the end it all boils down to doing your research and knowing who you're talking to. ALWAYS meet in a safe, public place and never do anything you're uncomfortable with. If he is a true SD he will have no problem accommodating to your requests.
One last little gripe about SA... I have a feeling they mess with my messages. I often write to SDs first and on rare occasions I notice that my message was never read although I see them online. At first I thought they just must not interested but recently I messaged a guy and a day went by with the little red X by my message meaning he never opened it or had just deleted it. I thought nothing of it until he later favorited me and messaged me with no reference to my original message. After reading his message, I went and checked my outbox and the red X was still there next to my original message meaning he hadn't read it, meaning he had never received it... I am curious to know why SA won't send some messages and if anyone has had a similar experience?
All in all SA has brought me to some amazing people and experiences so I can't complain too much.. I would recommend SA to those who are patient and have their wits about them.. As long as you're not ignorant and desperate you should come out on top! Hope my review helps! :)

I have applied for just a month's membership (silver) have met two more scammers and a possible married man or two. Since switching from my standard to silver, I am getting no responses whatsoever. Something is seriously wrong with this site. I have sent at least 12 emails to customer services and other teams in the process. I do not recommend and will leave soon.

Review about Seeking ArrangementI am a law student at Columbia Law in NYC. I have tried a few of these sites. I also frequent good clubs in the city. As far as the dating sites go, my experiences on SA have not been good as on others and not nearly as good as in clubs and other venues where wealthy men go. I have my best luck dressing well but discreetly and elegantly and attending polo matches and luxury car events.
If you don't have time or the funds to go places to meet successful men in person, then I would recommend dateamillionaire.com or sugardaddies.com, much higher class of men.
Also, this place started advertising on Rush Limbaugh's pathetic show AFTER his days of hateful, anti-woman ranting about the Georgetown law student. No decent men are listening to Rush now. Only the ones who share his view of women. So I want to stay far away from them!

I had nothing but good intentions and did not want a dating scenario etc, just to reach out, offer support, make a difference. Well I sent several letters and none were answered then one day I received three letters from the same facility. Turns out that one of the inmates I wrote wasn't interested in being my pen pal but passed on my letter to several others. I'm not offended or put off, like with anything it's taking a chance & this time it didn't work out. It was just a little weird that instead of writing "I'm not interested" or throwing the letter away, it was passed on to other people. Review about Illicit EncountersI've been using Illicit Encounters for over 3 years, I have also used dozens of other dating sites. In fact I met my first and second wife on dating sites and use Illicit Encounters to look for discreet affairs.
Like the others I have found some of the 'issues' they described but lets be realistic here, you get scammers, 'professionals' on ALL dating sites, I found that if I reported these people to the admin of Illicit Encounters, they dealt with them pretty quickly - it is not in their interest to have these people on their site after all and it's bad for business.
The site is expensive I guess - it really is relative. How much do you value being able to arrange a discreet affair in privacy and in your own time ? Sure I could go to a pub, club but where am I going to find the time to crawl dozens of venues, potentially exposing myself in public ? Like my title, having an affair and keeping it discreet is not cheap so the price of the membership really is almost irrelevant if you get what you are looking for. The price is high to keep male / female ratio balanced and it is also a kind of commitment barrier, you are not going to fork out that money if you are going to be a tyre kicker. Also people forget there is the element of 'Prestige' - it is a premium site ... Just because you cannot afford a Ferrari, does not then make Ferrari a crap car etc - talk about sour grapes

Review about Military CupidI registered for this site twice under two different user names. The system kept sending me messages that my account was either suspended or permanantly deactivated. I conducted a live chat and was told that one of the accounts had been reactivated, when I tried to log in I received the same message that the account was deactivated. I uploaded my photos & drivers license for verification purposes and hope that this is not a part of some scam. The site states that a drivers license is supposed to be uploaded to weed out scammers, so I'm praying that my information is in good hands. I'm still waiting to see if the account has been activated or not.

Review about Seeking ArrangementLet me start off by saying that I am a nice, attractive, smart college student. I first heard of "sugar dating" through the media and figured it'd be an interesting experience so I decided to give it a shot. I should also mention that I have a "premium membership" because I registered with my .edu email. I've been on SA for about a year now and have had both positive and negative experiences. I am also a member of a competitor site with a much worse web layout but I've surprisingly found more success there than on SA. I've met real millionaires, been flown across the country, have had cars sent for me, and have even ridden around in a lamborghini.
On the flip side I've also met locals who are not millionaires but are rather quite well off, I find that those men are often the kindest and most generous. Through all of my experiences I have only had one steady SD , we're approaching a year of knowing one another and he's an attractive, great, younger guy. That being said, there are some things that concern me about SA and how it's run.. I was contacted by an "SD" who had multiple attractive photos and a very well written profile which said he was "worth" 10-50 million...
We exchanged a few messages and seemingly hit it off. Being a photography student I asked him why all of his photos were taken in a studio and if he would mind sending some casual shots before meeting. He immediately got defensive saying that those were the only photos he had and that they should suffice. Weary of his response, I saved his profile photos to my computer and uploaded them to a site that does a reverse photo search of billions of images already on the web, (just google tineye).
Turns out he had stolen every photo from a modeling site which I was also a part of! I confronted him in a blunt message and immediately blocked him. I then politely emailed SA to report him, handing over all of his information on a silver platter, even the link to the model's portfolio, only to see them do nothing about it. That was about 3 months ago and his profile still works to this day. It bothers me that he is out there scamming other girls who may not be smart enough to figure it out. His profile is 877352.
I also had another man contact me claiming to be some big photographer blah blah blah, he put his contact info in the message so naturally I googled him. ALWAYS do a short google search of names and numbers! Turns out he had sent the same exact message to many other girls and was running an escort service, go figure. I again blocked and reported him to SA. I still have yet to receive any response. His profile is 752271. The contact info he gave me was

Just google his cell and you'll find tons of references to escort services.
In the end it all boils down to doing your research and knowing who you're talking to. ALWAYS meet in a safe, public place and never do anything you're uncomfortable with. If he is a true SD he will have no problem accommodating to your requests.
One last little gripe about SA... I have a feeling they mess with my messages. I often write to SDs first and on rare occasions I notice that my message was never read although I see them online. At first I thought they just must not interested but recently I messaged a guy and a day went by with the little red X by my message meaning he never opened it or had just deleted it. I thought nothing of it until he later favorited me and messaged me with no reference to my original message. After reading his message, I went and checked my outbox and the red X was still there next to my original message meaning he hadn't read it, meaning he had never received it... I am curious to know why SA won't send some messages and if anyone has had a similar experience?
All in all SA has brought me to some amazing people and experiences so I can't complain too much.. I would recommend SA to those who are patient and have their wits about them.. As long as you're not ignorant and desperate you should come out on top! Hope my review helps! :)
