Review about SpeedDate.comWell u kno what, I guess me not trusting anyone or anything has paid off....These people kept askn me for a credit card number for subscription and I kept giving them the numbers to prepaid cards just sittn around in my wallet....I knew something was up when they would let you cant with who ever for awhile then send u the were sorry something went wrong with your credit card message after a few months of unlimited cahts and what not....Any legit company charges your card right then n then at the time of service.....Well hope this makes someone feel better that they got duped just like they are duping others

Review about JapanCupid.comI have used this site, both as a standard member and a paid member and found it to be OK.
Undoubtedly there are "fake" profiles out there. There are fake profiles on every site that allows people to make a profile without paying. This doesn't meant the site is a scam.
I suspect the unsatisfied users out there are unsatisfied for reasons that aren't really the fault of the site. For example, there are a lot of Japanese women on the site. Japanese women who live in Japan. In the majority of cases, these women are not interested in you if you live overseas. Not because they are racist, not because they wouldn't like you if they met you, but because it's simply too much of a long shot to start corresponding with someone who they can't meet without getting an international plane ticket.
I can assure you all that there are many many women on the site who will happily correspond with someone living in Tokyo, and will happily meet up if they think you might be their type. I know this because I met around 20 women through the site. Some nice, some not so nice, some stunning, some, umm, shall we say not so stunning. A couple of crazies, a couple of gold-diggers and a couple of nasty pieces of work but mostly just pretty normal people, in my age bracket (I was 37) looking for a partner.

It's good for meeting women who are in Japan, if you are also in Japan.

Use your head - if you're somewhere else then this site is highly unlikely to work for you.
Lots of Fake profiles
Review about KoreanCupid.comI've looked at this site and its sister sites. Yes there are way too many fake profiles. There may be some actual users but they are few and far between. The owners of the site in the terms and conditions claim copyright on your photos and even admit to using them to create profiles on their other sites. Also the prices are too high. Yes you can join for free, but then you can't do jack shit.
At least on other sites like Plenty of Fish you can actually use the site for free. And there are actual people on there.
