I never joined because I'm just...well I just refused to because I could see that speed.date is the type of company that would take your money, so I never joined. But what I would do, if I felt a connection with someone in that 3 minutes, and trust me it was VERY FEW I can tell if someone is a complete waist of time, but if I felt a connection we would exchange skype ids within that time.
That was my first sign to weed out a scammers. See, scammers will NEVER do skype because when you see a person and their living environment you can see what type of person they are right away. So I have met two quality men , one became my BF and the other is a dear friend to this day. I also had a nice date from a very upstanding gentlemen. I would not recommend it even though it has worked for me, but I had to be very sly and out smart the system. If you are going to be on Speed date you have to be very vigilant and have a system not to be scammed, and not everyone is able to do that. So its best to be safe and spend your money on a sight like e-harmony or go on speed date and have a plan to out smart Speed Date and the Scammers.

Review about SpeedDate.comthese guys are a complete rip-off and should be shut down. if you join for one month -by the way you cant- they keep making deductions and you have to cancel your credit card. while you are on their site they offer you russian/ slavic sex slaves and prostitutes. they will also cook up identities and send them to you. i was offered a girl from melbourne but in the photos they sent me of her the cars in the background were u.s. makes and the number plates and steering wheels were photoshopped out (lefthand drive in the u.s.). THESE GUYS ARE NOTHING BUT CRIMINALS.

And all these women that lived within 50 miles of me all lived in the same 3 towns. Obvious scam, wish I had never visited this site, god knows how many virus's my computer got.

Review about ZooskThe mobile app is below par at best. The search function filters don't work correctly. There are endless fake and old profiles. There is no way to tell if a member is a subscriber so half the time you are writing to no one. Found a friends profile from two years ago. The profile options are limited. They act like they moderate your profile but they don't. There was a freeloader member with her email as her username. Duh Becky! Others with pictures of their dogs and crap. My favorites are the ones with three people in the picture. Am I just supposed to guess? Anyway, none of these are allowed by their "moderators" but they are all over the place on the site.

Price, functionality, number of active members, limited search and sorting function, no way to tell if members are active and no way to change your search location without changing your profile location. (For us travelers, this blows.) Finally, there is not a profile option to specify the kind of relationship you are looking for. Ugh. Match was and is a much better option.

Review about Mate1If you report scammers,then check back in a few days they're still there.I even gave them the names of the porn stars in the photos that the scammers were using and where and what page they could find them at on scammerslist.com.I will say that there's not a lot of scammers in the search but just about all of the girls that instant message you are scammers.Iv'e also noticed that a lot of the guys that put there scam report on scammerslist.com said they met there scammer on Mate1.com.I joined for free and put up a good profile.Then the letters started pouring in but you cant read them unless you pay.Then i checked to see what it would cost to join but all i could find was the three day trial.Then they charge you fourty some bucks probably for 1 month.Most of the women's photos are dark and hard to see.The way they got it set up is you get nothing for nothing.When they tell you you've got mail you might as well just delete it because it takes you to the pay page for the 3 day trial but won't tell you what its gonna cost after that.It says search millions of profiles but you only get about forty pages with twenty or so women on each page.Its just another CRAPPY site that's not even worth a look.
